I haven’t fished much inshore at all the last couple of weeks. The inshore charter captains at the docks have had good catches of sheepshead and spotted sea trout, and I’ve read some reports of good black drum catches. I’ve been lucky enough to fish offshore on a few occasions when the wind hasn’t been hammering. Fishing has been fantastic out there with beautiful gag grouper caught on every trip that have to be released.
The keeper sized red grouper have moved a little farther offshore, but we’re getting our share on 8-10 hour charters. There are tons of great porgies biting right now along all of the normal snapper species.
The pictures are of a family trip we did, big fun!
