I got a chance to take Kolton and a friend for a little Saturday morning bass fishing at BPS here in Ft.Myers Florida. It started slow for us with people catching fish all around us, and just a break off for me by a guestimated 5 pounder on a 2’ pink Barbie rod one of the employees handed me, go figure!



My boy Kolton finally broke the ice with a colorful Mayan Cichlid.



Then he fought and landed a very respectable bass.



Next, his buddy got one of the nicest fish of the day, a largemouth bass almost 3 pounds. And Kolton finished it off with one last fish to call it a day.



The final tally of 1 cichlid and 3 bass made it a most enjoyable morning!
